Organic Cosmetics
The plant argument has become essential in cosmetics today. But given all the new claims of natural ingredients, it is increasingly hard to be sure what is going on. That is why BcomBIO has adopted the Cosmébio standards for greater transparency for consumers. The Cosmébio charter guarantees: controls on the ingredients, their purity and their traceability, controls on the application of environmental protection measures, and controls on packaging and labelling.

BcomBIO, cosmetics certified by an independent organisation: Ecocert:
	Ecocert is a control and certification firm approved by the public authorities which issues Eco and Bio labels and which has defined the charter requested by the Cosmébio association concerning ecological and organic cosmetics.
BcomBIO, guaranteed safer cosmetics : At least 95% of the ingredients are natural or of plant origin, without colorants or synthetic perfumes.
	To obtain the BIO label, at least 95% of the plant ingredients must be certified organic.
	To obtain the ECO label, at least 50% of the plant ingredients must be certified organic.

We use only 100% natural perfumes; the formulas are guaranteed to be without colorants, parabens, phenoxyethanol or GMOs.

BcomBIO, guaranteed more effective cosmetics :
A large share of the ingredients in traditional cosmetics are only there for colouring, perfuming or changing the texture... In organic cosmetics, all ingredients used have a beneficial action for your skin.

Cosmetics, whether organic or not, have the following composition:

• active ingredients, which are the substances that make the product effective.
• excipients, whose role is to give a "texture" to the product and to help distribute the active ingredients to your skin.
• additives, which include a varied family of preservatives, perfumes and colorants.

But the proportion of each of these components can vary widely.

BcomBIO, respect for the environment and animals :

BcomBIO care products follow an Eco Design principle. This means that every stage of a product's development is designed with the highest concern for the environment:
Certified organic raw materials are grown without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides.
The raw materials used are natural and biodegradable.



Organic cosmetics are produced with respect for the environment (for example, the cleaning products used are regulated to reduce pollution).
The packaging is biodegradable.
Specific to BcomBIO: 90% of our products come without cases (limiting the use of inks, less waste, protecting forests, etc.).


Our products are not tested on animals, but rather on human volunteers or cell cultures.
